If someone asks what was the best time of their life?’ So almost everyone has the same answer: ‘childhood’. Childhood is a feeling that stays inside a person for a lifetime. That innocence of childhood, pranks, games, fights! What do you do? Always miss that little kid. All this is seen in many people. It is always celebrated on the 14th of the month of November. On this Children’s Day 2021, we can rekindle a long lost childhood together with children.
We always think that we have grown up. We have matured and are busy with our work. As time passes, we get used to that work. But no matter how mature we become in our life! Childhood resides in our souls. An example of this is seen when we have children. Together with them, we come back to our childhood. This is the happiness that we can give to our children. Due to this, this feeling remains in their life forever.
In childhood, children have unique questions about why these things are like this, why they are not like that. They find this world exciting and full of unanswered questions. Always be lost in your own thoughts. They don’t mean anything to anyone. They just remain lost in their own world.
Why do we celebrate Children’s Day
Children’s Day is an event celebrated annually in honour of children. The date of celebrating it varies from country to country. International Children’s Day was declared for the first time in 1925 in Geneva during the World Conference on Child Welfare.
Children’s Day is celebrated as a tribute to the great man of India “Jawaharlal Nehru”. He has also been the first Prime Minister of India. Nehru had great affection for children. Because of this love, he was also called ‘Chacha Nehru’. He founded the Children’s Film Society of India in 1955 to make indigenous cinema for children. There is no gazetted holiday on Children’s Day. Rather, various programs like competitions, music and dance performances, etc., are organized in schools on this day.
