So there he took great care of his fellow prisoners and the blind daughter of the jail jailer. It is believed that Valentine cured the girl’s blindness. When he was sentenced to death! Then her final act was to write her a love message signed ‘From your Valentine’. Then later Valentine was hanged on 14 February in the year 270.
